CLASSES
Home Works Co-op offers classes for students in 3rd-10th grade
-
We strive for a collaboration joining real world life skills with a solid academic foundation. We implement logic games to teach setting and attaining goals. We encourage guided discussions and learning to ask questions through Socratic learning methods.
-
The current cost per family is $200 per semester. As we build up the program, we will keep the budget in discussions and adjust as appropriate.
Additional potential costs will be outlined as needed; for example, field trips, classroom supplies, and curriculum costs.
-
Parental involvement is crucial in the Co-op environment. If you sign up for classes, parents will be involved in ways that match their passions and skill set, such as teaching, assisting, planning, coordinating, etc.
This Co-op is not intended to be a drop-off program, but a community learning environment that focuses on advanced academics and real-world experiences that increase interest, curiosity, and retention in our students.
This can't be done without the parents bringing their own experiences and knowledge to share with the co-op.
